We are seeking an Administrative Assistant who can support the office of a busy marine port terminal. This is an opportunity for the right person to demonstrate their CUSTOMER SERVICE and ORGANIZATIONAL skills.

Your new responsibilities:

  • Develop understanding of the product inventory system. Oversee the inventory for customers. Enter and maintain inventory information into the system.
  • Research and resolve outstanding invoices or payments.
  • Assist with weekly timesheet and payroll processing.
  • Provide scheduling assistance to ensure operations are appropriately staffed.
  • Maintain filing systems to support vessel operations.
  • Ensure that office technology runs smoothly, including telephones and computers.
  • Responsible for daily and monthly reporting.
  • Maintain appropriate records and filing system, and ensure accuracy of data entered in computer records.

You have the right qualifications:

  • High School Diploma required.
  • Minimum 1 year office administration experience.
  • Experience with marine terminal operations a plus.
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products including Word, Excel and Outlook.
