What we’re looking for:

The perfect candidate will be outgoing, motivated, dependable, and possess a high level of customer service skills.

Any optical experience is great but not required.

Previous retail experience is also a plus.

Front Desk Receptionist is responsible for answering inbound calls and appointment reminders, outbound phone calls, scheduling patients, administrative functions, and providing superior customer service.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Professional phone etiquette and provide general administrative support
Providing excellent patient care services
Adhere to privacy, confidential and proprietary company policies and procedures (HIPAA)
Directly greet and service patients for scheduled appointments as well as impromptu visits
Frame styling, for comfort and optimal visual performance along with Eyewear adjustment and repair
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Assist in discussing patient’s prescription and eyewear options
Verifying and retrieving benefits online for patients prior to appointment
Enhances optical center reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
Calling patients to confirm upcoming appointment
Provide general administrative support
Assist in discussing patient’s prescription and eyewear options
