CNC Machine Operator – 3rd Shift (11PM-7AM)

ApplyDescription* 3rd Shift – 11:00PM – 7:00AM* Considering CNC levels 1-4 (Pay Depends on Experience)* Air Conditioned Factory* Paid Breaks, Health Benefits (90 days), Bonus, full-time hours, Recognition and Rewards Program, Paid Time Off, Paid HolidaysOperate one or more computer numeric control or numeric control machines to perform drilling, reaming, tapping, milling, boring and other machine operations over a wide range of surfaces, diameters and depths. The positioning in all axis and the changing of preset tools are pre-programmed to automatically follow the pre-established methods. The setups on some jobs are complicated and require milling to close tolerances. Operator must determine proper operation sequence, select and adjust tools in adapters, and mounts in storage matrix (drum).* High school diploma, GED* Ability to read blue prints, process documentation and inspection measuring devices.* Preferred experience operating conventional mills/ lathes, CNC mills/lathes and various deburring/reaming hand tools, buffing/polishing wheel and drill presses.* Ability to identify/correct production machining issues* Must be able to pass criminal background, drug screen, and have reliable transportationRequirementsLANGUAGE SKILLSAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively communicate information with managers and other employees, both orally and in writing.MATHEMATICAL SKILLSAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as rate, ratio, interest and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra.REASONING ABILITYAbility to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
