Responsible for the daily administration and management of diagnostic imaging and integration server environment. Responsible for the engineering, build, installation, configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems including hardware and software and the related infrastructure. Responsible for Server/Workstation operating systems including provisioning, monitoring, tuning, capacity planning, security, troubleshooting, support and maintenance.
Experience working with diagnostic imaging, radiology, cardiology, PACS, VNA, voice recognition systems desired. Experience with storage/NAS technologies and the storage of DICOM images and other diagnostic data desired. Understanding of backup, DR, business continuity, load balancing, high-availability, clustering, and system provisioning desired. Looking for a candidate with past DICOM/VNA/Storage Migration project experience.
We are looking for a detail-oriented, fast and willing learner with self-motivation and ability to work on multiple projects concurrently. Excellent written and oral communication skills are required.
Responsibilities:
Participate in scheduled tasks, daily checklists and on-call rotation
Participate in discussions for performance and infrastructure outage incidents
Plan and execute planned downtime OS & Application updates/upgrades
Lead troubleshooting effort, create incident reports and root cause analysis
Take part in design discussions and projects with vendors and other teams
Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate and learn from colleagues
Assist with the preparation, testing and deployment of enterprise applications with the coordination of DI&I, desktop, and clinical teams Assist in schematically/visually depicting system architecture, topologies, hardware, software and interfacing of key systems

Four (4) years of progressively responsible IT work experience and administration with a focus in Microsoft Windows operating systems and the applications environments they provide. Extensive knowledge of Cisco UCS server hardware, and VMWare virtualization, or Microsoft Server Operating Systems technologies, and scripting.
