Overview: Halifax Health is seeking an Office LPNORan Office Certified Medical Assistant.

Summary: The Licensed Practical Nurse will provide direct patient care to assigned patients under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse.

Job responsibilities include carrying out selected procedures, administration of medications, and treatments requiring understanding and technical ability in accordance with Halifax Health’s policies for job related education and experience.The Certified Medical Assistant will provide basic medical care andhealth teaching to patients in an outpatient, non-emergency care setting for an outpatient medical practice.

Job Qualifications: Currently licensed or eligible for LPN licensure in State of Floridaor current Certification/Registration in Medical Assistance requiredGraduation from an approved School of Nursing in a course of training for Licensed Practical Nursesorgraduate of an approved school or institution for Medical Assistant’sProfessionalism in interpersonal communication skills with patients, patient families, colleagues, physicians and ancillary department personnel.Additional certification required for LPN I and LPN II responsibilities.
