Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Sarasota is a 96-bed acute rehabilitation hospital that offers comprehensive, inpatient rehabilitation services designed to return patients to leading active and independent lives.


We are seeking a full time PM&R Inpatient Physician interested in building a practice and growing with the Sarasota, Florida community.  Sarasota’s warm year round climate make it perfect for the abundance of outdoor activities such as golf, tennis, fishing, skiing, biking, or just spending a day at one of the marvelous beaches.  Plenty of shopping, restaurants, art museums and galleries, make Sarasota a great destination for work and play.

PM&R Physician will establish a private practice to include a caseload of medically complex inpatient rehabilitation patients and an outpatient rehabilitation practice if he or she chooses. The Physiatrist will set up a relationship with an independent billing company and retain 100% of his/her own billing and collections. Encompass Health hospitals are extremely busy with high patient volumes – Encompass Health has its own well-trained outreach teams that identify appropriate inpatient rehabilitation candidates from surrounding areas.
