This is a Contract position in Hollywood, FL posted November 12, 2021.

Works under the supervision of the pharmacist and pharmacy manager to support dispensing functions, pharmacy operational maintenance activities, inventory management, patient care activities, and to meet regulatory compliance. Serves as a trainer and mentor to pharmacy technicians and students. Performs specialized functions.
Detailed responsibilities:

  • Performs cross functional duties of Pharmacy Technician I and Pharmacy Technician II.
  • Leads other technicians to manage daily operational workflow. Responsible for working with pharmacy technicians to ensure assignment and completion of operational and inventory management activities.
  • Assigned to pharmacy inventory management, purchasing, end of day and month end reporting, third party audits, and/or patient assistance activities as needed.
  • Able to perform pharmacy projects independently under the direction of pharmacy leadership.
  • Assigned with specialized functions such as administrator of pharmacy related equipment.
  • Performs activities related to pharmacy technician scope of practice.
  • Trains new pharmacy technicians and students.

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent


  • Registered Pharmacy Technician – FL
  • Certified Pharmacy Technician

Complexity of Work: Must be able to work in one or more advanced/special practice areas. This role requires critical thinking skills, effective communication, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimum supervision. The incumbent must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action when required.
