Housekeeping Manager

Natural Retreats is looking for a Housekeeping Manager to join our amazing team in Cape San Blas, FL!

Essential Functions:

  • Ensure all guests and homeowners arrive at a clean home, staged properly, and free of damage
  • Assist with ensuring all homes, properties, cabins, etc. are ready and correctly set up according to brand standards before guest and homeowner arrival
  • Source, interview hire, and train vendors for housekeepers and inspectors
  • Maintain weekly cleaning schedule in NRES in conjunction with Snap Inspect
  • Communicate with vendors and adjust the schedule as needed based on arrivals and departures and occupancy levels and schedule housekeeping staff and dispatch to address emergency issues
  • Maintain deep clean schedule and ensure deep cleans are completed to the standard
  • Ensure the housekeeping staff is using the correct cleaning product for the relevant jobs and ensuring sanitary and hygiene levels are kept at a high standard implementation of enhance cleaning protocol due to COVID 19
  • Code cleaning invoices by the deadline and submits for payment
  • Document damages in homes and submit reports
  • Give courteous feedback to vendors to improve their performance
  • Assist vendors when they need support
  • Assist in the preparation and distribution of supplies and linen for cleaners
  • Order supplies to keep housekeeping inventory at par to the needs of the business
  • Ensure supply orders and costs for housekeeping remain within budget
  • Count supplies on hand to report accurate inventory for supplies and linen




  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent oral communication skills over the phone, face-to-face, etc.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent follow-up, creativity, problem-solving, conflict management, organizational, written, and oral communication skills
  • Computer savvy and able to learn new software programs
  • Ability to make strong personal connections with coworkers, vendors, owners, guests, etc.
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to manage time independently and complete projects to provide deadlines with minimal oversight in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a team and peers but also independently for periods
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to operate and drive a car safely
