As a provider of recruiting and staffing services, Affinity Resources, LLC is currently seeking motivated, career oriented individuals for Recruiter opportunities in our Ft. Lauderdale office. Our Recruiters work with our clients and a team of Business Developments Managers to identify, screen, interview, present and hire qualified candidates for contract and permanent positions. The Recruiter position will: Develop recruiting strategies designed to identify qualified candidates through various recruiting tools. Evaluate candidates’ strengths compared with clients’ requirements by evaluating, screening, and interviewing the candidate. Negotiate wage rates and other terms and conditions of employment with candidates, and gain commitment from candidates for current and future job requirements. Complete necessary pre-employment processes including reference checks and background/drug tests. Manage contract employees while on assignment. Assess and investigate contractor related problems, and administer performance counseling, coaching, and disciplinary measures when necessary. Work with Account Managers to identify top accounts, target skill sets, key market segments, and to assess clients’ staffing requirements. Maintain relationships with industry contacts to provide customer service, gain industry knowledge, and get referrals and sales leads. Meet with candidates at client sites. Build long term professional relationships with contractors and assist in evaluating clients staffing needs and requirements. This will be done by periodically calling contractors to see how projects/assignments are going and periodically taking contractors to lunch, coffee, or meeting them at networking or out of office events. Regularly participate in industry related organizations to network for recruiting and sales leads and build industry knowledge. i.e. Chamber of Commerce, Recruiter Organizations, Manufacturing Associations. Any other duties that may be assigned. Qualified candidates for the Recruiter position must: Have a bachelor’s degree or related sales or recruiting experience. Staffing or recruiting experience is a plus but not required. Possess strong written and oral English communication skills. Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus. Be familiar with Microsoft Office Suite and have the ability to learn custom software applications. Must be able to work in a fast paced environment. Be currently authorized to work in the United States for any employer.
