Job Description:

1st Shift 9am-5:30pm Mon-Fri.

Receive, store and distribute materials, parts, supplies, and equipment following cGMP/GDP’s. Also provides clerical support, shipping and receiving and warehousing support, as well as back up for the Logistics Supervisor as required with cross-functional assignments.

III. Specific Activities, and Responsibilities:

* Unloads material from truck.

* Must be able to review packing and handling instructions

* Create shipping documents

* Confirm all requirements of shipment have been met. (i.e. temp recorder, seals, address labels, C of A’s, MSDS, customs invoices, etc)

* Track shipments

* Receive all Raw Materials and Parts in DSI

* Unloads material from truck.

* Verifies proper documentation and labeling on product to be received.

* Verifies Weight/Quantities Gross, Net and Tare.

* Collect and account for all receiving documentation

* Process all JD Edwards Inventory Entry transactions.

* Scan documents into various operational files into the RDL

* Print all required labels and sticker all drums

* Interface with QC Sampling to prioritize and process raw materials in proper sequence ensuring efficient material flow off of the dock and through QC. (I.e. weighing ALL EP material, swapping to sample pallets, cleaning drums, etc)

* Determines sampling plan quantities and specific storage requirements.

* Moves sampling quantity to QC – put away remainder in designated warehouse location, scan, and locate.

* Determine put away location considering specific storage requirements.

* Confirm put away location.

* Complete transactions in ERP system via handheld device or PC.

* Department liaison with Quality Control, Warehouse, and all other internal customers that interface with the receiving dept.

* Process all UPS, FedEx, and LTL truck receipts and send out as needed with their software.

* Serves as back up for various areas within the warehouse as available.

* Filing all orders

* Perform inventory adjustments in the POMS and JDE systems

* Update Department Dash Board Standards and Spreadsheets

* Maintain inventory and supplies necessary for dock area

* Handles non-hazardous, hazardous and DEA waste.


* High School diploma or equivalent required.

* Extreme attention to details and strong organizational skills are required.

* Previous logistic, customer service, or warehouse experience is preferred. Experience in Pharmaceutical/Lifesciences is a plus.

* Previous Balance Forklift experience is preferred.

* Knowledge of ERP software, for example JDE is preferred. 2 plus years data entry experience is preferred

* Familiar with shipping, receiving, inventory control, and cGMP, FDA , and DOT regulations.

* Experienced Counter – Balanced Forklift Operator license preferred and the ability to obtain a Man-up forklift license.
