Job Overview: The Applications Development ETL Technology Lead Analyst will be responsible for establishing and implementing new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team.

The overall objective of this role is to lead applications systems analysis and programming activities.

The position will be also responsible for Application Architecture design and development using ETL and BI tools for the AML Business Intelligence platform.Responsibilities:Responsible for the overall technical planning, design and implementation of BI solutionsManage global development across Ab Initio and Micro Strategy components, production issue resolution / triage, application implementationMaintain technical documentation for all packages, descriptions of the data and data structures including data definitions, metadata, data models, and data flow diagrams.Partner with BA team and other key project stakeholders including testing teamsAbility to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a distributed delivery setupPartner with multiple management teams to ensure appropriate integration of functions to meet goals as well as identify and define necessary system enhancements to deploy new products and process improvementsResolve variety of high impact problems/projects through in-depth evaluation of complex business processes, system processes, and industry standardsProvide expertise in area and advanced knowledge of applications programming and ensure application design adheres to the overall architecture blueprintUtilize advanced knowledge of system flow and develop standards for coding, testing, debugging, and implementationDevelop comprehensive knowledge of how areas of business, such as architecture and infrastructure, integrate to accomplish business goalsProvide in-depth analysis with interpretive thinking to define issues and develop innovative solutionsServe as advisor or coach to mid-level developers and analysts, allocating work as necessaryAppropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm’s reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.Qualifications:8+ years of extensive experience system analysis and in programming of software applications across BI tools such as MicroStrategy, ETL tools such as Ab Initio & Talend, Oracle database.Extensive experience in the architectural design, software development, and management of high performance, critical enterprise applications along with managing and implementing successful projects.Strong understanding of relational databases and experience in application integration.AML Compliance domain experience will be preferred with business awareness on core applications like Case Management, Case Risk Scoring, Case Investigations, Suspicious Activity Reporting, Quality Assurance, AML Monitoring and CitiKYC.Ability to adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictate & proven ability to work with teams that are geographically separatedSelf-motivated, team player, action-and-results oriented with demonstrated leadership and project management skills.Excellent oral and written communication skill.Education:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent and 8-10 years of experience in Information Technology.
