TRANSITIONS OPTICAL Marketing Coordinator, Non-Exempt

nnThe Marketing Coordinator is responsible for supporting and contributing to North America marketing teams ongoing projects.

Areas of focus include advertising, public relations, trade communications, events, digital communications, channel marketing and professional development.nn nn Key Responsibilities of the Role nn nnSupports (associate) marketing managers by coordinating components of trade shows, digital events, education events, webinars, influencer programs and point-of-sale materials (POS) campaigns.nn nnSupports consumer and trade marketing teams by conducting media and digital monitoring; Evaluating PR and media alerts; and reviewing social media content.nn nnSupports the channel marketing team in preparing customer presentations and campaign reporting.nn nnManages inventory of POS and Transitions(R) branded premiums.

Maintains fulfillment center POS information, uploads new items, deletes discontinued items and communicates to the commercial team.nn nnMaintains digital library of the region’s creative work produced and coordinates with global brand manager for regional files uploading, access and maintenance within the brand asset management system.

Maintains tracking for marketing asset usage, expiration and replacement for the North America region.nn nnMonitors promotion tracking within business intelligence systems and communicates requirements to the commercial sales team.nn nnSupports marketing team leaders with administrative functions as requested.

Activities may include coordinating travel needs with the travel department, managing hospitality, arranging meeting special needs.nn nnAssist with marketing budgets by reconciling and budget discrepancies, requesting purchasing orders, pulling reports, etc.nn nnParticipates in marketing meetings, taking meeting minutes and distributing notes to participants.

Follows up and tracks action items which result from meetings.nn nnCoordinates and schedules marketing meetings, both internally and with partner agencies.nn nn Key Requirements (Education and Experience) nn nnBS in marketing, communications or related fieldnn nnPrevious experience or internship in marketing, PR or communications is a plusnn nnOptical industry experience is a plusnn nnStrong interpersonal and written communication skillsnn nnAbility to multitask and prioritize work effectively and efficientlynn nnStrong attention to detailnn nnProject management skills highly desirednn nnAdvanced level proficiency in MS office applications including Word, Excel and PowerPointnn nnAbility to travel 5% of the time to ~3 events per year, which may include eveningsnn nn Transversal Responsibilities nn nnAll employees have a responsibility to contribute to the Groups sustainability and in doing so ensure that we can continue to fulfill our mission.nn nnAll business decisions and actions must serve and be in line with the Groups sustainability goals and missionnn nnAn employee must abide by the legal compliance policy in the performing of his/her dutiesnn nnCandidates must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship, willing and able to take and pass background check and drug screening.nn nnNo relocation assistance is available.nn nn Essilor of America and/or its subsidiaries is an Equal Opportunity Employer.nn
