Senior Quality Technician

Our Plymouth, MN location is looking for a Senior Quality Technician to assist engineers in developing and maintaining quality engineering methodologies and providing quality technical support on existing manufacturing lines.

WHAT YOU’LL DO Perform inspection of production operations, including documenting inspection and audit results.

Perform final product inspections against specification and procedural requirements.

Document nonconformances as appropriate and assist in the resolution of nonconformances.

Monitor calibration and maintenance of all test equipment and fixtures.

Initiate related documentation changes.

Perform Monitoring of critical-to-quality parameters and specifications.

Collect data, summarize, analyze, perform basic statistical analysis on, and document test results Assist in designing, building, and evaluation of test methods and inspection fixturing, providing improvement recommendations.

Support all Company initiatives as identified by management and in support of Quality Management Systems (QMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS), and other regulatory requirements.

Complies with U.S.

Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, other regulatory requirements, Company policies, operating procedures, processes, and task assignments.

Maintains positive and cooperative communications and collaboration with all levels of employees, customers, contractors, and vendors.

Performs other related duties and responsibilities, on occasion, as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRING High School degree required; 2-year technical degree preferred.

5 years’ med device experience or equivalent combination of education and experience Ability to work 2nd shift from 1:30 PM – 12:00 AM.

– Thursday Ability to work independently with minimal oversight.

Previous experience in assisting with NCMR dispositioning.

Previous experience with an ERP system (SAP preferred) Experience with a document control system preferred Knowledge of Quality Systems, FDA regulations, ISO 13485 and applicable worldwide regulatory requirements.

Good communication and computer skills, including data analysis and report writing skills.

Strong verbal and written communications with ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels in the organization.

Experience working in a broader enterprise/cross-division business unit model preferred.

Ability to work within a team and as an individual contributor in a changing environment.

Ability to leverage and/or engage others to accomplish projects.

Multitasks, prioritizes and meets deadlines in timely manner.

Strong organizational and follow-up skills, as well as attention to detail.

Ability to maintain regular and predictable attendance.
