Business Sr. Analyst – Asset Servicing (Tampa, FL)

FUNCTION OVERVIEW:Asset Servicing Operations & Technology department is responsible for day to day operational servicing of Citi ICG’s Income and Corporate Actions’ Events as well as supporting and maintaining the Technology behind it.The Asset Servicing Change Management team is responsible for defining and executing change for the Asset Servicing O&T Organization.

The team’s remit includes;Implementation of infrastructure and functional changes, process change and control improvements.Defining and monitoring the benefits of change, both qualitative and quantitative.Support for all products covered by Asset Servicing and project interactions with all internal stakeholders.PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:Business Analysts and Project Managers are assigned to individual projects and programs of work.

This role is to provide expert analysis of Annapurna project covering requirements elicitation, collation, and documentation in a BRD, Interaction with various operations groups including Asset Services operations, to define corresponding solutions and to work with Technology and Operations teams to implement these solutions.The role will require both business analysis and project management skills to successfully deliver solutions to Operations’ clients.

Project management scope of the role will focus on the co-ordination and delivery of required system changes to support Annapurna project focusing on risk elements and improvements in controls.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Develop robust and measurable Business Cases to capture quantitative metrics/ROI using standard financial methods.

Deep dive into various metrics to understand the overall plan and deliveries linked.Develop individual project artefacts as necessary, including Business Requirements Documentation (BRD’s), Functional Requirements Documentation (FRD’s), test planning and scenario documents for user acceptance testing (UAT), project plans as required for all key technical deliveries.Develop Business and Functional requirements using the Agile Methodology using JIRA tool to document User Stories, Bugs and Improvements.

Includes conducting refinement meetings with Scrum teams and Sprint Planning.Assist in the preparation of Senior Management Steering Committee material for use inside & outside Asset Servicing Operations.Production of presentation materials for Senior Management and Steering Committee forums.Day-day management of individual project responsibilities including milestone setting, task and actions management, co-ordination and execution of plan within required timescales and to stakeholder quality expectations.Management of multiple projects and sub-tasks simultaneously.Identify key project risks, whether stated or not, and manage to resolution or escalate accordingly.Assist in the organization and delivery of presentations for a variety of purposes.Assist in ad-hoc duties for Asset Servicing Change Managers as necessary.CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS Previous Experience (preferable):Financial Services experience, within or outside of Citi but strong preference for candidates with Operations / Technology Banking experience.Real-world experience across the project lifecycle, including analysis, design, development, testing and implementation
– either waterfall or agile.Collecting, defining and documenting business and technology requirements.Credible experience of successfully implemented projects in the financial services industry, preferably within Citi or equivalent organization.Experience should ideally involve large scale implementations.Practical Asset Servicing Operations or Technology experience.Managing, organizing and prioritizing multiple tasks and responsibilities.Preparing and executing test scripts.Training / development plans can be provided for strong candidates who do not possess all the relevant experience petencies:Excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to facilitate discussions.Ability to quickly grasp and master new concepts / requirements and related product / functional knowledge.Ability to work under pressure and manage to tight deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements.Ability to learn/understand some technical implications of system design.Willingness to ask questions, challenge the process and seek out answers.Ability to work independently, multi-task, and take ownership of various parts of a project or initiativeExcellent analytical and problem solving skills.Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Project.
