The Business Systems Analyst will provide exceptional day to day business system support to end users, as well as identifying opportunities for system improvement and implementing effective solutions, in order to minimize operational disruption due to IT issues and increase productivity and efficiency within A-Gas.

Reports toRegional Technology Officer Primary LocationBowling Green, Ohio with travel to other A-Gas Americas sites as neededKey ResponsibilitiesWorks closely with both internal and external customers to both maintain and identify opportunities, to enhance business systems to improve productivity and business efficiency Identify and implement process improvements with a focus on technology and innovative solutionsAssists in the definition of scope and objectives for key initiativesLeads projects and participates in the review processes and identifies improvements opportunitiesDevelops the specification, testing, and delivery of agreed business system enhancementsReviews and analyses the latest industry trends and where appropriate propose and implement developments to the A-Gas business systems ensuring that these are aligned to the IT strategy Identify requirements from customers to aid in the development of appropriate business systemsProvides training for staff to ensure competent and effective use of business systemsTo work in accordance with all policies in relation to health and safetyAny other tasks as requiredExperience and QualificationsEssentialBachelor’s degree and 1-3 years of experience in related field, or 5 years of experience in lieu of degreeExperience with project management methodologiesStrong analytical, systems knowledge/proficiency, communication skillsAble to communicate with customers and both, understand and respond appropriately to requirementsAble to analyze problems and implement timely solutionsConfident communicator with the ability to express own views and challenge the views of others.
