Responsible for supporting the Training Infrastructure System (TIS) and the multitude of classrooms that connect to it on a daily basis. Install, setup, and monitor the training system. Perform a variety of maintenance, evaluation, installation, and training tasks to ensure training system meets system requirements. Investigate problem reports, identify problem source, and implement provided solutions. Maintain host security, including firewalls, file permissions, backup and disaster recovery, file system integrity, and add and delete users. Perform maintenance programs following company and vendor standards. Additional duties and related responsibilities will be assigned as required. The successful candidate will work closely with other members of the Lockheed Martin training team at Eglin to fulfill F-35 training objectives. The successful candidate will implement and support Lockheed Martin initiatives, programs and policies as directed. Candidate must have worked in an environment which required them to interact with multiple functional areas and personnel of a diverse nature. Selected candidate must be willing to travel, in include CONUS/OCONUS F-35 enterprise training locations for short periods depending on operational needs. Employment will be contingent on agreement and compliance with such requirements.
Basic Qualifications:
Experience with Windows Server and Desktop Operating Systems (i.e 2012, 2016, Win 10, Win 7, etc)
Experience with supporting Virtualization (VMWare, Horizon View, Citrix, etc)
Experience installing and supporting COTS software
Account support using Active Directory
CompTIA Security Plus Certification or better Candidate must have a current secret clearance with investigation in the past 6 years and be able to qualify and hold a SAP clearance. Must be able to work multiple shifts and support some weekend work when needed
Desired Skills:
Knowledge of Disaster Recovery practices
Experience with McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator
Splunk Enterprise
Network administrator experience Experience working in military environment
Current F-35 Training Management System and Learning Management System experience
Ability to perform OJT training to other system administrators in an enterprise setup through phone, email, IM, or in person support
