In this role you will be responsible to provide process support to the Ozark motor plant in NEMA Motors – Motion in Ozark, Arkansas.

Reporting to the Continuous Improvement Manager, you will work in a collaborative environment with people from different backgrounds and disciplines.

Your responsibilities Contribute to maintaining a safe work environment Serve as a technical resource for process improvement Facilitate process improvements using Lean Flex-Flow and 6 Sigma principles Ability to understand and dissect manufacturing processes and determine the time for each operation Establish standard work and shop practices Creatively use available and developing technologies to improve manufacturing systems Your background High School Diploma/GED and minimum 4 years’ experience in a manufacturing or technical role is required OR Associate degree and minimum 2 years of experience in manufacturing or technical role OR Bachelor’s degree and experience in a manufacturing or technical role Proficient with Microsoft Office Excel, AutoCAD, SolidWorks and Solid technical writing skills, Experience with SAP, FlexSim, PowerBI and ThingWorx preferred Ability to adapt to new technologies and manage multiple conflicting priorities and deadlines Must be able to work effectively with operators and other manufacturing support staff to solve problems and improve productivity Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US Benefits Retirement plan Life insurance Disability insurance Medical insurance Wellbeing program More about us ABB’s NEMA Motors Division markets, designs and manufactures the market-leading Baldor-Reliance® brand of industrial motors.
