Junior Revenue Analyst


This is a Full-time position in Aventura, FL posted April 23, 2021.

Position Objective

Responsible for providing data analytics for all revenue that is accurate, complete, and on time. Support the Revenue Strategist in all areas of Revenue Management to help Advenir make informed and timely decisions on revenue generation.

Position Requirements

The position is required to report to and work out of the Aventura home office location daily. This position requires the ability to perform the physical functions of the position, which may include, but are not limited to the ability to fly, drive a vehicle, and walk properties. If the employee is unable to fulfill these requirements, they are unable to fulfill the responsibilities of this position.

Reporting Line

The Revenue Strategist is your direct supervisor. In the absence of the Revenue Strategist, the Vice President of Marketing will be your supervisor.

Delegation of Authority

You are not authorized to spend any money on behalf of the property, nor are you authorized to sign or approve contracts, offer concessions, change rates, or waive any fees without approval in writing from your supervisor.

Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s)

· All new lease pricing reports pulled, collated, and submitted to Revenue Strategist accurately and on time monthly.

· All Advenir Living Lease Renewal Worksheets prepared accurately and ready for review no later than the 15th of each month.

· All reports prepared on or before the 7th of each month or as directed by your supervisor.

A. Add Short Term lease fees to all unit types for new lease pricing

B. Ensure all short -term fees are consistent across properties and regions

C. Review lease expirations limits vs actual to make sure they make sense

Job Requirements:

  • Prepare revenue related financial analysis
  • Prepare monthly sales team revenue performance and revenue highlights
  • Identify revenue leakage throughout the revenue process flow
  • Conduct complex audit projects and revenue analysis to ensure revenue integrity
  • Compiling and analyzing revenue recognition entries and perform revenue accounting
  • Perform flux analysis for revenue and deferred revenue balances
  • Reconcile revenue and deferred revenue accounts
  • Provide flux analysis for major deferred revenue accounts
  • Resolve all revenue-related issues
  • Prepare ad-hoc revenue cycle related reporting
  • Prepare revenue related financial and account analysis
  • Perform various account reconciliation for related revenue accounts (deferred revenue)
  • Reconcile monthly financial revenue for each CSC
  • Perform financial analysis of revenue cycle processes and reports
  • Provide detailed monthly revenue reporting and analysis
  • Perform analysis of revenue cycle process and reports
  • Reconcile revenue and deferred revenue accounts and maintain detailed support for reconciliations
  • Reconcile revenue and deferred revenue accounts
  • Defining period revenue recognition values
  • Ensure revenue is recognized in accordance with revenue recognition rules under GAAP
