Onboarding Communications Specialist, Mission Control

– we’re just getting started.**Summary:** We’re looking for a Communications Specialist to develop internal communications to new hires and those involved with onboarding our tech workforce.

This role will serve as the primary copy writer for communications aimed to imbue our culture for those joining Facebook and indoctrinate stakeholders to our brand across several channels.

In addition, the Communications Specialist will be responsible for writing with an international audience in mind
– ranging from entry level hires to executives.

As such, the role must possess the ability to communicate with precision and clarity.

You’ll need to be a quick learner and able to understand a multitude of complex programs and distill the appropriate messaging for the intended recipients.

The Communications Specialist will need to be comfortable operating in ambiguity, pivoting priorities quickly, and taking direction from colleagues with a wide-ranging set of needs.**Required Skills:** 1.

Work closely with cross-functional partners and program managers to draft and edit content and communications on behalf of Onboarding Programs across our media channels2.

Support key Onboarding communications projects and priorities3.

Manage and maintain internal content around program policies4.

Research and write on tight deadlines5.

Manage multiple projects simultaneously6.

Partner with EMEA PM to execute on the administration, facilitation and operations of EMEA Onboarding7.

Manage frameworks, processes and central documentation of all communications to maintain operational consistency and alignment across teams**Minimum Qualifications:** 8.

Bachelor’s degree in Communications, English or relevant field9.

2+ years experience in communications, marketing, or similar field10.

Experience writing on deadline with organizational and project management skills11.

Experience writing and producing content for a global, diverse audience via multiple channels12.

Experience communicating to multiple levels of an organization13.

Background organizing and prioritizing multiple tasks while managing time14.

Experience turning complex information into engaging content across various channels**Preferred Qualifications:** 15.

Experience in an internal communications roles within a fast-paced organization16.

Proven experience collaborating with multiple stakeholders across time zones17.
