Product Owner, Home Building Operations

The Lennar Product Owner, Home Building Operations drives the product strategy and delivery for the product(s) within the home building operation domain.

The Product Owner will be responsible for understanding and executing the strategic direction of the portfolio that is being supported and the realization of value associated to the product(s).

This role will focus on delivery of the home building application which supports multiple functions within divisions.

The Product Owner will be responsible for translating that direction into product roadmaps, user stories, product specification to name a few.

This role is responsible for collaborating with various business, technology and operations team members and leaders to help collect and analyze business requirements and outcomes to focus product strategy and direction within Lennar.
Responsibilities Lead the product definition & delivery effort for home building operations applications Product Owner will advocate for the Customer Defines, develops and manages product vision, strategies and roadmaps Evaluates need for new or changed business / product capabilities to respond to changing and competitive environment Oversees product success, end to end, market assessment through product implementation and support Defines quality and control objectives, critical success factors and measures compliance and KPIs of product, using as input into roadmap definition and execution Drives scoping, requirements definition, business case development and priority setting for initiatives in assigned area Assess value and prioritize stories, epics and themes (backlog) to ensure work focuses on those with maximum value that are aligned with product strategy & ROI Works in an Agile environment and continuously reviews the business needs, refines priorities, outlines milestones and deliverables, and identifies opportunities and risks.

Provides vision and direction to the Agile development team and stakeholders throughout the project Leverages an uncompromised approach to change management as it effects people, process and adoption of technology Prioritizes Product Backlog and provides Definition of Done.

Lead the planning product release plans and set the expectation for delivery of new functionalities Translates product roadmap features into well-defined product requirements including features, user stories, and acceptance test criteria.

Conducts market, competitor, and industry research and assesses the business value and performance of solutions against capability needs Understands industry trends and application to Enterprise Recognized role model; mentors others across teams Influences improvements of complex business and IT processes to enhance company performance Leads product planning processes, initiatives and teams Understands interdependencies and constraints across teams; guides cross team collaboration / prioritization Effectively communicates plans and priorities at all levels and aligns across teams Qualifications
Technical Skills
Advanced expertise across multiple business areas or technical solutions Ability to evaluate and analyze the need for new or changed business / product capabilities to respond to changing and competitive environment Experience with MS Dynamics or Power Apps preferred Familiarity in one of the technology domains, such as: Business Intelligence, Application Delivery, Architecture, Data Integration
Education and Experience
10+ years in business or product leadership role Master’s degree preferred or multiple certifications in product leadership discipline Product Owner Certification preferred

Physical Requirements:

This is primarily a sedentary office position which requires the incumbent to have the ability to operate computer equipment, speak, hear, bend, stoop, reach, lift, and move and carry up to 25 lbs.

Finger dexterity is necessary.

10-20% Travel is Required
