QA Supply Chain CoordinatorDescriptionJob Title: QA Supply Chain Coordinator Department: ProcessingReports to: Control ManagerFALSA: Non-Exempt HourlyRole Summary:The Supply Chain Coordinator is responsible for working with the Control Manager to assist in managing, planning and releasing production work orders to meet customer delivery requirements and best utilize the company’s productive capacity and review and manage raw material and finished goods inventory transactions to support inventory accuracy goals.This position is critical to keeping the company inventory accurate across departments and ensuring the production team has proper materials and documents to create products according to the planned schedule.

This position will work very closely with the production supervisors in multiple departments to facilitate a steady flow and accurate output of product.Key Duties and Responsibilities:Production ControlWorks in concert with the Control Manager to create/open/close production work orders to meet customer delivery dates.

Utilizing ERP, monitor in process work orders for completion and completes the work order closure process after shipments are invoiced.Engages with Operations to ensure timely and accurate completion of work order transactions.Notifies Control Manager of Bills of Materials and routing corrections as needed through coordination with manufacturing.Interfaces with manufacturing supervisors, master planner and procurement on material status and production planning issues.Inventory ControlWorks in concert with the Supply Chain team to plan and facilitate regular cycle counts with Operations to ensure cycle counts are completed according to company procedures.Works in concert with the Supply Chain to reconcile weekly inventory cycle count variances to root cause and lead the process to reduce errors.

Update ERP with cycle count results and provide summary reporting as required.Works with Safety department to spearhead safety initiatives and report incidents within departmentPosition RequirementsSKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:Familiarity with ERP systems requiredUnderstanding of Good Inventory Management practicesBachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management or related field preferred.

Experience may be substituted for degree.1-2 years’ experience in Material Planning and/or Production Scheduling is preferredExperience in the manufacturing industry with an understanding of scheduling and inventory concepts.Good communication skills requiredWorking knowledge of Microsoft Suite of products (Excel, Word, etc)ADDITIONAL REQUIRMENTS:Must be abel to pass a Level 2 background screeningMust be at least 21 years of age (State Law)PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:Must be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 40lbs to a minimum height of 5 feet and able to push, pull, move, and/or carry such weight a minimum distance of 50 feet, with or without mechanical assistanceMust be able to work seated/standing as appropriate at workstations for extended periods of time, maintain body equilibrium while climbing ladders, stairways, stopping, kneeling, crouching, and reaching, and use hands/fingers to hold, grasp, turn, pick, pinch frequently/constantly to complete tasksMust be able to handle organic matter daily, able to wear PPE as appropriate (eye, face, hand, arm, head, foot, body, fall protection), and able to be exposed to hot, cold, wet, humid, or windy conditions while wearing PPE (95 degrees or greater)Must have visual acuity with/without job aids to perform activities such as; reading, viewing a computer terminal, visual inspection involving small parts/details.

Clarity of vision at 20 ft or more in day and night/dark conditionsMust be able to speak and communicate verbally at conversation levels with co-workers, vendors, etc.

(Moderate noise)WORK SCHEDULE:40+ hours weekly with flexible hours depending on department needs.
