We are currently seekingfull-time experienced Emergency Nurses to join our team at Baylor Scott &White Medical Center Temple.  Baylor Scott & White Medical CenterTemple is a 630-bed specialty care teaching hospital and the only Level 1Trauma Center, Certified Chest Pain Center, and designated Stroke Center locatedbetween Dallas and Austin.  The Emergency Department is a 49 bed unitwhich includes 6 trauma bays and fast track/results pending areas. Our averageannual ED visits are 78,000.

Our Nurses enjoy the artof emergency nursing and the camaraderie of working with various medicalpersonal, such as Emergency Medicine Residents, Emergency TraumaServices,  EMS/Prehospital, Flight nursing, Poison center, Law Enforcement/Security, Social Services and the Military.

Our Emergency Nurses arerecognized as an integral member of our multidisciplinary academic team. Emergency nurses provide rapid assessment andtreatment to patients in the initial phase of illness or trauma and often inlife-threatening situations.

�  Associates Degree in Nursing (ADN) required

�  RN license required

�  Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required

1 Year of RN experience required

Note: If you have less than 6 months of experience, we recommend that you apply to our nursing internship program.  Internships are available for new graduates and experienced nurses in a variety of specialties.  New classes begin in January, June and September.
