Here’s where you come in.  With the goal of ensuring the highest quality of operations and services, you’ll provide senior level expertise to all scheduling, call volume monitoring and adjustments. You’ll help determine and communicate work schedules and assign resources for various call queues as well as interface with site leaders to ensure adequate staff, contingency plans and workflow monitoring.

This position is full – time (40 hours / week) Monday – Friday. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8 hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 8:00am – 10:00pm EDT. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional weekends and overtime. 

This role is equally challenging and rewarding. In this high volume, demanding call center environment, you’ll need to analyze market data, review scheduling conditions, forecast production and identify trends to present information for operational and business planning.

You’ll enjoy the flexibility to telecommute* from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. Training will be conducted virtually from your home.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Use workforce management software and call volume history to help manage daily staffing levels and to determine the most effective methods for staffing adjustments
  • Utilize call center tools to observe agents’ actual state compared to scheduled state
  • Manage real – time inbound call traffic to help ensure that service levels are met
  • Gain an understanding of the technical and business solutions such as: optimized schedules, forecasts and other tools, and present them to management
  • Prepare and maintain reports, dashboards and monthly packages

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma / GED (or higher)
  • 2+ years of workforce management experience (i.e. responsible for scheduling, call volume monitoring and adjusting, creating and communicating work schedules and resources for call queues, consulting with call operations, etc.)
  • 2+ years’ experience with workforce systems (i.e. Avaya, CMS, IEX, eWFM, Genesis, and/or Blue Pumpkin)
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel (creating spreadsheets, v-lookups, pivot tables) and Microsoft Word (create, edit, format, save)
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends
  • If you need to enter a work site for any reason, you will be required to screen for symptoms using the ProtectWell mobile app, Interactive Voice Response (i.e., entering your symptoms via phone system) or similar UnitedHealth Group-approved symptom screener. When in a UnitedHealth Group building, employees are required to wear a mask in common areas. In addition, employees must comply with any state and local masking orders

Telecommuting Requirements:

  • Dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas that provides information privacy
  • Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure (if applicable)
  • Residing in a location that can receive a high-speed internet connection (additional information on UnitedHealth Group approved internet providers and restrictions will be provided)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree (or higher)
  • 2+ years of customer service experience

Colorado Residents Only: The hourly range for Colorado residents is $20.77 to $36.88.
