The position will require working flexible hours and travel out of the assigned geographical area to support suppliers across the United States.

Duties include:Interface with assigned suppliers on a daily or weekly basis.Ensure supplier contract flow-down requirements are implemented and verifiedPerform at suppliers their scheduled product source inspections, first article inspection (FAI) reports, and product line validations as outlined by AS9102 and applicable company and industry standards Provide internal and supplier support for root cause and corrective / preventive actions (RCCA) tied to Supplier Corrective Action Requests (SCARs), test failures, and Material Review Board (MRB) activitiesSupport supplier requests related to program requirementsInterface with customer representatives and program managementBasic Qualifications:Technical Engineering degree in a Technical, Industrial or Quality Assurance related field at the Bachelor level or aboveMUST have a favorably-adjudicated SECRET or higher security clearance granted within the last six (6) yearsAbility to travel on average about 50% of the timeAn understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD) An understanding of AS9100 and ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems Be able to identify and document supplier’s quality deficiencies and ensure effective corrective actionAn understanding of engineering drawings requirements and mechanical and electrical inspection methods Strong organizational skills and the ability to work in a dynamic environment Must be able to multi-task, meet deadlines and to support all program supplier quality engineering activities Must be able to effectively communicate and interface with Suppliers, Quality Program Management, Engineering, Supplier Quality Management, Global Supply Chain (Buyers) and Government RepresentativesMay be required to work in a manufacturing environment that would require standing and the use of appropriate Personal Protection Equipment (protective footwear, eye / hearing protection, or other protective equipment designed to protect people from work place hazards)Desired Skills:A basic understanding of the MFC SAP and Procure to Pay (P2P) business systemsASQ Certification:
• Certified Quality Engineer (CQE),
• Certified Quality Auditor (CQA), and/or
