It is involved in nearly all aspects of our company mission. The Linux Systems Administrator will help to change the world from our Lake Mary, Florida o?ce.
Job Description
The Linux Systems Administrator does more than just Linux. They will help support our entire organization including our local and remote users, external partners, infrastructure (large scale, consisting of mostly Linux-based servers), and our mission.
The ideal candidate for this mid level position will be a passionate IT professional with 3+ years of experience, cares about stability and uptime, is energetic and highly motivated, well organized, has great communications skills, with a proven track record of teamwork, work ethic and tenacity to any problem thrown their way. This candidate truly has a passion for all things IT, and is continually improving him or herself by honing the skills of their craft.
Job Requirements
Part of on-call rotation / pager duty (currently 1 week on, 5 weeks o?)
Solid understanding and foundation in RedHat based Linux systems
Solid understanding of virtualization technologies
Scripting / automation experience with Bash, Python, or GoLang
SMTP/POP/IMAP mail protocols and services
DNS protocols and servers
HTTP(s) protocols and Apache or Nginx servers
Solid SQL and MySQL or Postgresql management
Monitoring with Nagios, Cac<, or Solarwinds
