ResponsibilitiesCentral Florida Behavioral Hospital is a 174-bed, private psychiatric center located in Orlando, FL.

Central Florida Behavioral Hospital offers a full continuum of care including inpatient treatment services for children, adolescents and adults; and partial hospitalization, intensive out-patient and ECT services for adults.

Utilization Review CoordinatorThe Utilization Review Coordinator performs admission and concurrent review of patients.

Assures optimum quality of patient care in the most cost-effective manner.

Works closely with the Physicians and the Social Services department to ensure quality of documentation of patient care.

Completes Medicare B-Tag audits.Essential Job Duties: Psychosocial assessment of newly admitted patientsDeveloping an update or detailed re-assessment of the patientHigh-social risk case findingContact with family and others significant in the patient’s lifePatient and family education Support and advocacyCoordination/liaison with community-based social and mental health agency(ies) regarding the pre-admission status of the patientMember of the treatment team in development of treatment planning and subsequent planned interventions.One of the nation’s largest and most respected hospital companies, Universal Health Services, Inc.

QualificationsJob Requirements:Master’s Degree in Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, Social Work or other related field.

Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.Three (3) to five (5) years’ experience in chart analysis and utilization review in the psychiatric and chemical dependency filed preferred.Valid FL license, e.g., RN, LSCW, LMHC or LMFT preferred.Good oral and written communication skills required to communicate in a clear and concise manner with patients, physicians, staff and administration.
