Global Veterinary Partners is a growing group of animal hospitals in Florida who specialize in cats and dogs. Our practices are proudly partnered with Vetco Total Care and are located inside of Petco stores. We have locations in Boca Raton, Coral Springs, Deerfield Beach, Fort Lauderdale, Fort Myers, Miami, Palm Beach, Pembroke Pines, Sarasota, and Stuart. In the coming months we are expected to open animal hospitals in Clermont, Pinellas, Port St. Lucie, and Titusville.

What we’re looking for

If you love being around animals and are committed to offering them the best possible healthcare, we’d like to meet you! We are seeking passionate and energetic veterinarians who will act as the point of contact for pet owners, whether it’s to treat illnesses and injuries or to advise on general care and nutrition.

We are currently seeking to hire a full-time veterinarian for our Coral Springs location!

Responsibilities:

• Examine animals and check their health status
• Diagnose illnesses and determine the best treatment
• Dress wounds of injured animals
• Perform dental and surgeries
• Spay and neuter animals as needed
• Prescribe medication
• Advise pet owners on nutrition, preventative healthcare, and general care
• Update client records
• Call back and follow up with pet owners

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree, licensed veterinarian by an accredited AVMA University and can be licensed in the state of Florida by only taking the Florida State Exam.
