The Account Executive will coach and mentor a team of Account Managers, manage the day-to-day operations and be involved in agency’s strategic goals and initiatives.

The position plays a key role in ensuring ongoing operational consistency, as well as managing the day-to-day servicing, renewals, and new business.

Activities include, but not limited to: Managing day-to-day operations ofthe agency Leading a team of Account Managers Managing the account service process Marketing business, contact client as needed, create proposals, and handle all activities in conjunction with your team Providing direction in evaluating and selecting the proper carrier placement Maintaining relationships with appropriate company representatives through proper contacts Staying informed on competitive markets, continuously expand market knowledge, and sharing your knowledge with the team Knowledge and understanding of the independent commercial insurance brokerage operations Maintain renewal controls on expirations and binders Checking policies, endorsements, and audits for accuracy Coordinating premium financing and the collection of premiums Other tasks and projects as assigned Job requirements Education and Experience: Bachelor’s Degree At least 8 -10 years of commercial insurance experience with an independent insurance agency At least 5 years’ experience managing a team Solid commercial lines insurance knowledge base Maintains a General P&C license in Texas Ability to work independently Agency management system experience EPIC, TAM or AMS360 preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Leader with strong work ethic, takes ownership, timely follow-up, team-oriented, proactive, detail-oriented Strong analytical and organizational skills Customer service and relationship building skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Proven mentoring and coaching skills Self-motivated individual who can set and maintain their own pace and accountability Compensation and Benefits: Salary commensurate with skills and experience 5 weeks PTO Benefits package includes medical, dental, vision and 401k plan “Best Places to Work Award” winner 13 years in a row 40 MAD “Make A Difference” volunteer hours per year Fun, engaging, challenging and rewarding environment Fanatic focus on an employee-centric culture Growth opportunities with Career Track programs In-house training academy Blue Lime Insurance Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
