Director, Merchandising

This is a Full-time position in Miami, FL posted April 25, 2021.

This positionis responsible for driving the financial performance and developing strategiesto increase sales, reduce costs, and drive conversion rate of newly acquiredand existing product lines.

It oversees and manages a team responsible of allaspects of the sales process, including price optimization, coupons and deals,customer communications, packaging/inserts creative, and SKU rationalization.

Duties &Responsibilities

· Drivesfinancial performance against goals – segment P&L and KPIs – sales, profit,growth.

o Creates annual P&L budgets (Revenue, AGM, PPC %, CMR) perassigned brand, and monitor the monthly & quarterly performance to reachtarget goals.

Approve and modify monthly commitments for the products incoordination with the Category Manager.

· Leadsdevelopment of priorities & execution against growth strategy for the assignedscope.

· Guidesmanagers to effectively drive category KPIs with effective analysis &decision making.

o Understands and masters every aspect of the ecosystem in whichproducts are selling (i.e., competitor’s landscape, industry’s landscape).

· Guidesmanager decisions on current product line(s) & product lifecycle including:

o Pricing,new products, current product optimization & obsolescence

o Uses data and category landscape knowledge to identifyopportunities for new products and propose new ideas to PDO team.

Work closelywith the PDO team to maintain a product portfolio optimized for quality andcosts.

Accountable for the successful launch of new portfolio products.

· Utilizesdata-derived insights to establish new product priorities.

· Troubleshoots,guides, trains and mentors managers to succeed in day-to-day operations.

· Workscollaboratively with and provides priorities to PDO, Project Management andMarketing teams

Role Requirements:

ü Previousposition of Category Director or Senior Category Manager.

ü 10+years of packaged goods and/or e-commerce category management experience,ideally in corporate and startup environments.

ü Abilityto develop metrics, analyze data quantitatively and identify opportunities andsolve problems.

ü Ability to balance strategicplanning & operational execution.

ü Knowledge of Amazon salestactics, front & back end experience & execution to drive KPIspreferred.

ü Adeptat working in a cross-functional, matrixed organization.

ü Ahistory of owning, developing, and communicating long-term vision and goalsthat drive strategies for a portfolio of products.
