Due to their excellence with service, quality, and design, they have more than proven their craftsmanship.The company has an immediate need for many Factory Workers and Supervisors to work in a plant environment.SupervisorsEssential Functions· Follow and establish production, inventory, and quality standards· Determines work procedures, prepares work schedule, and expedites workflow· Coordinate and work with managers and team members for timely production· Oversees inspection of components to verify conformance to specifications· Interpret and enforce company policies to workers· Follow all safety procedures and ensures team does as well· Ensure plant is clean and organized through housekeeping/5S procedures· Manages safety training for team· Maintains harmony among workers and resolves disputes· Recommend measures to improve safety, production, quality control, and reduce costs· Maintains time and production recordsRequired Education and Experience· A high school education and a minimum of three years’ related experience· Truss plant experience preferred· Competent in Microsoft Office (Word & Excel)· Must have project management experience and a solid understanding of workflow processes· Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measurement· Ability to understand and carry out instructions in written, oral, or diagram form· Able to apply supervisory skills while maintaining a team environmentAssemblersDuties and Responsibilities:· Assembles correct component parts and materials required to assemble floor trusses· Assembles precut wooden parts to build trusses and similar supports or wall sections used in building construction: Moves specified precut parts to work area and positions parts in jig by hand or using overhead crane, or other machinery following supervisor’s instructions and blueprint specifications.· Places metal reinforcement plates over connecting joints and connects parts at joints, using hammer, screwdriver, or pneumatic staple gun.· Verifies dimensions of precut parts and accuracy of assembly, using ruler and gaugesDesired Experience:· Construction and/or Manufacturing: 4 years (Required)· Assembly: 2 years (Preferred)· Truss building: (Preferred)Skills and Abilities:· Ability to work in a safe and productive manner· Demonstrates the ability to lead others and give instructions and directions· Understand the use and knowledge of standard tools: nail/staple guns, drills, screwdriver and hammers;· Work as a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Compensation and Benefits· Benefit package includes: Health/Dental & Life Insurance, Vision Discount, Company 401(k), and Paid Holidays & Paid Time Off LOCATION Sanford, Florida 32771 PAY $14 – 20/hour
