FOH Manager

This is a Full-time position in West Palm Beach, FL posted October 1, 2021.

The individual best suited for this role will be able to provide excellent leadership and mentorship to a team of 90+ associates, and possess the ability to quickly identify top talent, with growth and potential maximization in mind. Solid, proven, experience with managing beverage and labor costs, associate payroll, and department expenses are paramount to success in this role. Flexibility is a must!

The day-to-day*

    -Developing short- and long-term financial and operational plans for the restaurant in support of the overall
    objectives of Concord Hospitality.
    -Monitoring the performance of the restaurant through verification and analysis of customer satisfaction systems and
    financial reports: Initiates corrective action.
    -Maintaining product and service quality standards by conducting ongoing evaluations and investigating complaints.

    -Implementing and maintaining sales/marketing programs.
    -Establishing and maintaining applicable preventative maintenance programs to protect the physical assets of the
    restaurant.
    -Promoting effective two-way communication systems which reach all employees.
    -Developing new programs, which result in an increased level of customer satisfaction and operational excellence.
    -Managing compliance initiatives with established company policies and procedures, along with local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
    -Suggesting and implementing revenue generating programs that provide maximum price value to the guest.
    Teach, implement, and reward employees in utilizing their empowerment to meet or exceed customer
    expectations.
    -Ensuring the staff demonstrates technical skills through conducting training on a regular basis.
    -Monitors service and teamwork on a regular basis and counsels associates on both aspects.
    -Ensures that staff is utilizing up selling techniques while providing customer service.
    -Utilizes leadership skills and motivation techniques in order to maximize associate productivity and satisfaction of
    direct reports.
    -Conducts effective employee meetings and counseling sessions.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Prior experience necessary. A college degree is preferred.

LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read, write, and verbally communicate effectively and professionally with other business departments, guests, and vendors. Ability to diplomatically deal with difficult situations and people, while exhibiting a consistent level of professionalism.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, or telephone. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10-25 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
