Position Summary The CGI Computer Graphics Imagery department in Dotcom ensures that digital image projects across the Enterprise are executed effectively and efficiently. Project Coordinators typically have experience in a supporting role on projects with a proven track record of successful project delivery support with varying degrees of responsibilities across multiple projects. The Project Coordinator assist the 3D and merchandising teams with managing resources requirements and information, scheduling, planning, stakeholder relationship and other project activities. The project coordinator role may include additional duties and responsibilities and require new learning in a specific knowledge area, such as IT or human resources, to better support new areas of project management which may not be previously known or may not be at the necessary skill level. There is always something that needs attention, so the Project Coordinator excels in a fast-paced and challenging work environment. What you will be doing Assisting the CGI Manager with ensuring a project are well-organized and runs smoothly. Maintaining and monitoring project plans, project resources, project schedules and project tasks. Organizing, attending, and participating in stakeholder meetings. Documenting and following up on important actions and decisions from meetings. Preparing necessary presentation materials for meetings. Ensuring project deadlines are met. Undertaking project tasks as required. Supporting the development of project strategies. Ensuring projects adhere to frameworks and all documentation is maintained appropriately for each project. Assessing project risks and issues and support providing solutions where applicable. Ensuring stakeholder views are managed towards the best solution. Creating a project management calendar for fulfilling each goal and objective. Providing Projects status reports. Performs other duties as required. What you bring to the table Knowledge Proficient knowledge of retail, manufacturing, andor furniture industry preferred. Ability to communicate, influence, and lead cross-functional teams in an environment of competing interests and limited resources preferred. Leadership skills with the ability to communicate the CGI vision and inspire and motivate CGI and project resources. Strategic mindset to support evolving an organization focused on portfolio and project management with continuous improvement. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and anticipate the needs of a changing landscape. Strong Knowledge about project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile) principles and practices. Some ability to articulate, drive, and ensure process standardization and adoption of best practices are followed. Some ability to develop and execute a strategic resource plan. Some ability working with different styles of employees Provide clear direction and effective communication. Some ability to translate business strategy into functionaloperational plans and apply knowledge to the critical components of the function preferred. Problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other departments to resolve complex issues with innovative solutions. Working knowledge of MS Office 365 (Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint) MS Project and Visio. Working knowledge of Service Now Project Management Tool. Education and Experience Project Management Certification, preferred, but not required. Bachelors degree in information systems, business administration or similar field. 3+ years of project management experience in a lead andor supporting role. Essential Requirements Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to effectively present and communicate with all levels within the organization, with agencies and vendors. Excellent organizational skills with ability to handle multiple priorities, meet demanding deadlines and adjust to sudden changes in workflow. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to think independently, take corrective action, and to resolve employee inquiries and requests for information. Ability to manage and administer a broad range of tasks including resolving complaints and counseling project resources on the interpretation of policies and procedures. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, high level requirements, note taking and meeting minutes. Ability to deal with problems supporting projects and the CGI Manager involving several variables in a variety of situations. Ability to act independently and take initiative where applicable in support of projects. Ability to maintain all job-related information in a confidential and private manner. Working Conditions Ability to work extended hours may be required to meet deadlines, handle unusual workloads or to accomplish organizational priorities. Ability to sit for prolonged periods in one location which may be restricted to the employees workstation.
