JASSM Senior Program Manager Acquisition Program Management Professional, Senior Eglin Air Force Base, Florida Fort Walton Beach, Florida HX5 is an award-winning provider of engineering, research and development, and technical services to clients such as NASA and the Department of Defense. HX5 is currently seeking a JASSM Senior Program Manager to join our team at Eglin Air Force Base in Fort Walton Beach, Florida. Day to Day duties (include but not limited to) * Support development and contractor Integrated Product Team meetings, provide recommendations on best courses of action and draft action item responses. * Coordinate with USG agencies for planning and preparing development IPT events. * Uses Microsoft Project to monitor and report on contractor schedule status to include critical path. * Prepare presentation materiel for major meetings, action item responses, EBJ and HHQ taskers. * Support Risk Mgmt Process with risk creation via the risk management tool and develop brief to Sr leadership. * Track CDRL for development IPT working closely with Division Configuration / Data Management lead. * Coordinate closely with other branch functional leads, PK, Engineering, FM, Test and Logistics in support of development projects. * Provide inputs and recommendations on development projects regarding cost, schedule and performance. * Draft development project SOOs and coordinate on contractor SOWs and proposals. Essential Duties and Responsibilities * Plan, research, analyze and assess system acquisition in terms of development, production and deployment of weapons systems and associated equipment; formulate plans; and recommend effective strategies in meeting cost, schedule and performance objectives. * Support and develop acquisition reports, including statutory and regulatory reports (e.g. DAES and MAR). * Support and develop various briefings/schedules of program status and acquisition tasks to senior management. * Support program management reviews, senior level meeting/reviews and IMP/IMS reviews. * Support implementation and execution of Agile software development processes in concert with Government and weapon system prime contractors and suppliers. * Plan, evaluate and implement program acquisition strategies to meet DoD 5000.2 guidance. * Develop program management documentation to support all phases of the acquisition life cycle. * Develop briefings to support acquisition decision milestones. Education and Experience Requirements Must have one of the following combinations of education and experience: * Bachelor’s in a relevant degree field and twenty five (25) years of relevant experience * Master’s in a relevant degree field and fifteen (15) years of relevant experience Must be a US Citizen and successfully complete a U.S. government background investigation. Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance. Must be able to travel as required (25%) and be able to rent/operate rental cars while on travel.
