Regulatory Advisory Manager

This is a Full-time position in Tampa, FL posted July 30, 2021.

Responsibilities Advise our clients on regulatory frameworks within the United States.

Specifically, as it related to banks, broker/dealers, futures commission merchants, registered investment advisors, swap dealers, and/or security-based swap dealers.

Utilize a General knowledge of banking and financial products, including loans, underwriting, securities, futures, and derivatives.

Display a general understanding of large, complex financial institutions.

Specifically, risk management, treasury, compliance, legal functions, and operations.

Experience in analyzing laws, rules, regulations, and regulatory guidance related to bank holding companies and/or foreign banking organizations in the US.

Actively build upon client relationship efforts to market and cross-sell the various services provided by the firm.

Assume the responsibility for staff work and ensure high quality of work is delivered within established deadlines.

Serve as a technical subject matter expert across multiple clients, providing an understanding of accounting issues, economic events, and their impact to regulatory requirements.

Perform other duties as assigned by the firms leadership.

Qualifications 8 years experience in relevant roles within the Financial Services sector, focusing within US banks, FBOs, broker dealers, or lending operations.

Experience within an advisory firm or within a financial services organization preferred.

BA or BS in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field required.

Ability to travel at a minimum of 40-50%.

Proficiency in MS Office: Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook.

Preferred Qualifications Masters Degree in Business, Accounting, or related field.

Advanced Microsoft Office Suite expertise.

Previous experience overseeing or managing data life cycles.
