Position: Terminal Manager
– Reporting to the Regional Operations Manager for a privately-owned food grade tank carrier, providing transportation services throughout the United States, while also offering import/export services between the US, Canada and Mexico.

Recognized nationwide as an industry leader, they boast a fleet consisting of over 600 tractors & 1,200 trailers.

The Terminal Manager
– The Terminal Manager will manage and lead the day-to-day operations of the company’s business.

The terminal operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

The Terminal Manager ensures that the terminal staff provides outstanding customer service to our customers, delivering their products on-time and safely every time.

This position has full P&L responsibility as well as being responsible for the hiring and training of employees, safety and compliance, developing new business and expanding business opportunities with current customers.

This requires an individual who is a strong leader who is able to think strategically yet also is willing and able to be a hands-on manager as needed.

Job Requirements: Background Required: Terminal Management (3yrs) Managing P&L of the terminal operations, improving profitability, control cost.

Prioritize and handle multiple projects / tasks in face paced environment.

Analyze and improve work processes.

Knowledge of DOT regulations Driver and employee performance management.

Managing maintenance and operations.

Hiring for the entire facility to fill any open positions, assist recruiting.

Develop and maintain relationships with drivers.

Dispatch, routing, scheduling, providing excellent & timely customer service, tracking, and negotiating rates.

Computer literate: Microsoft suite (i.e.

Excel, Word) Education: High School Diploma Location: Philadelphia, PA area Background Preferred (but not required): Education: Bachelor’s degree Bulk food grade transportation.
