Position Summary for Manager International Tax Location: Boston As a Tax Manager within International Tax for RSM you will be responsible for the following job duties which are focus around three core concepts (Technical & Quality Expertise, People & Talent Management and Client Service/Business Development): Duties and Responsibilities: Serve as a Career Advisor, mentor or coach to one or more employees, which will include providing honest and timely performance feedback – approximately 10
– 20% of your time Work on multiple complex issues while communicating in a non-technical manner to facilitate communication between the client and the service team while managing the risk for both the client and the firm Advise clients on a full spectrum of International Tax services including planning, research, compliance, general mergers and acquisitions activities and transfer pricing Preparing and/or assist with complex Tax returns – approximately 5 -10% of your time Assist with new business development, extended service and tax issue recognition for existing clients Manage corporate international client needs with respect to tax services and federal and state tax compliance Remain up-to-date on current tax practices and changes in tax law Other duties as assigned All percentages may vary based on location, line of business, and client need Basic Qualifications: Requires a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and CPA or JD designation and certification Requires a minimum of five (5) years of international corporate tax compliance and tax consulting experience within a public accounting or law firm Requires a working knowledge of inbound and outbound structure planning, foreign tax credits, world-wide tax minimization planning, transfer pricing analysis, ASC 740, FATCA and foreign assignment planning Requires previous US international information reporting and review experience Requires supervisory experience in mentoring, guiding and training associates Requires experience with tax technology such as Vertex, CCH, GoSystems, ProSystems or similar technology Requires advanced level abilities with Microsoft Excel and Word skills, i.e.

V-Lookups, Pivot-tables, Filters Requires 25% travel.

Travel is currently suspended under the RSMs’ COVID-19 guidelines.
